Will you accept the challenge?

It’s ok to own who you are, and love every bit of yourselves. You may not feel worthy, you may not feel loved, but we can only truly accept love when we first love ourselves. You are worthy. You may not be perfect, we all have our flaws, but you are precious, you are loved, and darn right you deserve it.

The greatest battle we face is within ourselves, and those of you dealing with mental health issues will feel this deeply, but you are strong.

You’re proving those who doubt you wrong every day by simply being here and standing your ground.

No one has walked in your shoes. No one has lived your life. You are unique, and so precious. Even if you cannot accept that yet, we hold that truth for you until you can.

Every single one of you is incredibly important to us. YOU matter. You are the reason we’re working so hard to fight for change.

I challenge you to read the following out loud whether you believe it or not and repeat it every morning and night. You may not be able to at first, but work on it. You can do this.

“I am strong. I may not feel worthy of love, but that does not mean it is true. I am worthy. I am loved, and I can face any challenge that comes my way. I am not alone, and I will fight with all I have each day to be the person I wish I could be, to live the life I want to live, because that it was I deserve.”

You are fierce. You are valued. You are cared for. You are loved.
